Samsung India profit fell 36 per cent to ₹7,228.10 crore for the financial year ended March 31, 2026, according to a filing with the Registrar of Companies (RoC). Despite the decline in net profit, the company reported a 1.2 per cent rise in revenue from operations to about ₹1.12 lakh crore in FY26.
Samsung India Electronics reported consolidated revenue from operations of ₹1,11,183.40 crore in FY25, while its profit stood at ₹11,287.50 crore. In FY26, the company’s total consolidated income, including other income, stood at ₹1,14,738.60 crore.

Samsung India’s revenue from operations remained broadly stable in FY26 while profit declined sharply. Domestic revenue rose 9.34 per cent to ₹65,873.30 crore in FY26 from ₹60,243.50 crore in FY25. However, export revenue decreased 5.64 per cent to ₹41,068.60 crore from ₹43,527.80 crore in the previous fiscal year.
Samsung India Mobile Phone Revenue Declined
Mobile phones remain the largest revenue contributor for Samsung India. However, the Hand Held Phones (HHP) segment, which includes mobile phones and accessories, recorded a 1.36 per cent decline in revenue to ₹81,472.20 crore in FY26 from ₹82,595 crore in FY25.

Samsung competes across multiple price segments in India’s smartphone market. The company competes with Apple in the premium segment and with brands such as Vivo, Xiaomi, Oppo and Realme across mass-market and entry-level categories.
Samsung India Other Business Revenue Grew
While Samsung India reported a decline in mobile revenue, several other business segments recorded higher revenue in FY26.

Home Appliances business revenue, which includes washing machines, air conditioners, refrigerators and microwave ovens, increased to ₹12,240.60 crore in FY26 from ₹11,823.30 crore in FY25.
The Audio-Visual segment, which comprises televisions and soundbars, also recorded growth. Revenue from this segment increased 8.5 per cent to ₹8,055.90 crore from ₹7,427 crore in FY25.
Samsung India Expenses and Royalty Payment Grew
Samsung India Electronics recorded a 3.54 per cent rise in total expenses to ₹1.04 lakh crore in FY26. At the same time, the company’s spending on advertising and promotion declined 11.9 per cent to ₹3,850.50 crore from ₹4,370.70 crore in FY25.
The royalty payment made by Samsung India to its South Korean parent company also increased. The royalty payment rose 7.2 per cent to ₹3,474 crore in FY26 from ₹3,240.50 crore in FY25.

The royalty payment relates to technical know-how, technology and manufacturing support provided by the parent company for electronics manufactured in India.
Samsung India Key Markets and R&D Centres
India continues to be an important market and manufacturing base for Samsung Electronics. The company has research and development centres across the country, including facilities in Bengaluru, Noida and the Delhi-National Capital Region (NCR).
As per the FY26 financial results, Samsung India recorded higher domestic revenue while export revenue declined. Domestic revenue increased to ₹65,873.30 crore from ₹60,243.50 crore in FY25. In contrast, export revenue fell to ₹41,068.60 crore from ₹43,527.80 crore during the same period.
