Vivo is getting ready to launch another S-series smartphone in the Indian market. Vivo S2 FE will launch with Vivo V80 5G on 6th October 2026. A Flipkart microsite has shared the date for the event, which starts at 12 PM IST. The company has also shown a new look of the rear design, which features a 50MP camera mark and a camera module.

Vivo S2 FE India Launch Date and Time

The smartphone will go on sale in India on 6th October at 12 PM IST. The launch date of Vivo V80 5G is already announced and it will be held along with Vivo V80 5G. Vivo is yet to officially confirm the pricing and specifications of the Vivo S2 FE, so some of the information floating around the internet should be considered as reported specifications and not the actual features.

Expected Display and Design

According to recent reports, the phone could feature a 6.83-inch 1.5K AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. Presumably, an in-display fingerprint sensor will also be included. The exact size of the display will also be confirmed at the launch, as another earlier report said it will be slightly bigger, at 6.84″.

As per the leaked images, the device will feature a flat screen with slimmer bezels, with a punch-hole camera stuck in the center. The back features a somewhat curved, rectangular camera island that has two stacked camera rings. The rear module has a 50MP camera mark.

Dimensity 7300e Processor Could Power the Phone

The handset is rumored to run on MediaTek Dimensity 7300e 5G SoC. In an earlier hands-on leak, the same processor was touted as having a maximum clock of 2.5GHz. The handset might have the option to use LPDDR4X RAM and UFS 3.1 storage.

It has also revealed the presence of 6GB of physical RAM and 128GB of internal storage with extended RAM support. Vivo has yet to officially confirm these memory details.

10,000mAh Battery Could Be the Main Highlight

The S2 FE’s 10,000mAh battery is one of the largest features announced for the phone. The phone will also supposedly be capable of 44W wired charging. If this is true, the device would have the ability to assert a very good sized battery life in its category.

Camera Specifications

According to the leaked specs, the mobile has a 50MP primary rear camera (Sony IMX852) and a 2MP secondary camera. It will also have a 32MP front camera for selfie and video calls. The leaked images show the rear camera module with 50MP branding and the full camera kit will be revealed at the launch.

Expected Price in India

Vivo S2 FE is said to be priced under Rs 40,000 in India. The same report suggests that the box price of the 6GB RAM and 128GB Storage variant could be Rs 39,999. A box price is not necessarily the final selling price, so the actual retail price could be lower.

Vivo has yet to release its official price. It is expected to announce the pricing, variants and the availability details during the event of the launch on October 6.

Vivo V80 Will Launch Alongside It

The S2 FE will also be seen launching with the Vivo V80 5G. Vivo has already confirmed the release of the V80 in October 6 and has revealed some of its specifications such as 7,200mAh battery, 144Hz refresh rate on display and the ZEISS lens system. There will also be a new OriginOS 7 preloaded on the phone.

The two smartphones will be priced differently, but Vivo has yet to announce the pricing details for either model. As the S2 FE nears its launch on October 6, more details will be available about the device.
