Oppo has announced that the Find X10 Pro Max will feature MediaTek’s new Dimensity 9600 Pro chipset and will boast a powerful battery of up to 8,000mAh capacity. Oppo has also shared a few details about the Find X10 Pro Max ahead of its China launch. The phone will be available in three colour options and will be equipped with a Hasselblad-backed camera system with three 200-megapixel rear cameras and a large battery.

Oppo Find X10 Pro Max to Be Powered by MediaTek Dimensity 9600 Pro

MediaTek’s Dimensity 9600 Pro is a flagship mobile chipset fabricated using a 2nm N2P process at TSMC. Oppo says that the Dimensity 9600 Pro chipset can improve multi-core CPU energy efficiency by up to 61 percent compared with the previous generation.

The flagship Dimensity 9600 Pro is also set to improve graphics and on-device artificial intelligence performance. MediaTek introduced the Dimensity 9600 Pro chipset with support for newer technologies, including LPDDR6 RAM and UFS 5 storage.

Earlier benchmark information had also shown the Dimensity 9600 Pro in the Find X10 Pro Max. The handset appeared with the MediaTek MT6995 chipset and achieved a score of 3,691 in single-core and 11,093 in multi-core Geekbench testing. These results are from a listing and should not be considered official retail performance figures.

Oppo Find X10 Pro Max Camera Details

Oppo is also looking to focus on the camera. The Find X10 Pro Max will feature three 200-megapixel rear cameras. The rear cameras will be placed inside a rectangular module, while the flash and another sensor will be placed in separate sections.

The phone will also introduce Oppo’s second-generation Danxia colour system. The combination of the high-resolution sensors and Hasselblad’s contribution is expected to be one of the highlights of the flagship, although the complete camera specifications will be confirmed at launch.

Oppo Find X10 Pro Max Launch Date and Colours

Oppo will launch the Find X10 Pro Max in China on September 22. The event will also start at 7:00 pm China time, which is equivalent to 4:30 pm IST. The Find X10 and Find X10E are also expected to debut at the same event.

The phone will be offered in three colour options, including Warm Orange, Moon White and Light Titanium. Oppo has already revealed the design of the handset ahead of the launch, giving a glimpse of its large rectangular rear camera module.

Oppo has also confirmed that the Find X10 series will be available in international markets. However, the company has not announced the international release timeline and pricing for the Find X10 Pro Max. More details are expected around the global launch event.

Oppo Find X10 Pro Max Specifications and Expected Features

The upcoming flagship is expected to feature a large display and high-end hardware. Gadgets 360’s specifications listing mentions a 6.82-inch display, 12GB RAM and 256GB storage for the handset, while the listing also mentions a 10,000mAh battery. However, Oppo’s latest announcement specifically confirms a battery capacity of up to 8,000mAh, so the 10,000mAh figure should not be considered launch information.

The phone is listed with Android 17 and ColorOS 17. Other reported specifications include Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 6.0, NFC, an in-display fingerprint sensor and USB Type-C connectivity. These specifications are currently listed as upcoming or rumoured in the Gadgets 360 specifications database and should be distinguished from features officially confirmed by Oppo.

With its 2nm Dimensity 9600 Pro processor, triple 200-megapixel camera and large battery, the Oppo Find X10 Pro Max is set to be a premium flagship. The China launch on September 22 should reveal its complete specifications, pricing and more information about its international availability.
