New Audi Q3 will be launched in India on October 16, 2026. The third-generation luxury SUV has already made its India debut and bookings have opened ahead of the launch. The India-spec model will be locally assembled and will replace the second-generation Q3 that has been on sale in the country for around four years.

The new Audi Q3 gets a major design and technology update, along with a 2.0-litre turbo-petrol engine, 7-speed dual-clutch automatic gearbox and Quattro all-wheel-drive system. Audi has not yet officially announced the final India price, but the SUV is expected to cost around ₹55 lakh to ₹60 lakh, ex-showroom.

The new Audi Q3 India launch date is October 16, 2026. The SUV is expected to be priced at around ₹55 lakh-₹60 lakh, ex-showroom. This would put the new-generation model at a premium over the outgoing Q3, which is currently priced between ₹43.67 lakh and ₹53 lakh, ex-showroom.

Audi has already started accepting bookings for the new Q3. The SUV will continue to compete in the entry-level luxury SUV segment against models such as the BMW X1, Mercedes-Benz GLA and Mini Countryman.

New Audi Q3 Design and Dimensions

The third-generation Audi Q3 gets a sharper exterior design than the outgoing model. It features split LED headlamps with configurable daytime running lamps and a wider grille. The India-spec SUV also gets body-coloured cladding, 18-inch alloy wheels, roof rails and a chrome beltline.

At the rear, the Q3 gets split tail-lamps connected by an LED strip, an illuminated Audi logo and a prominent roof spoiler. The India-spec model does not get the sportier S-Line styling package available in some international markets.

The new Q3 measures 4,531mm in length, 1,859mm in width and 1,623mm in height, with a 2,681mm wheelbase. It is larger than its predecessor across the key dimensions. The SUV also gets a 488-litre boot.

New Audi Q3 Interior and Features

The cabin of the new Audi Q3 gets a major technology upgrade. The dashboard features a 12.8-inch touchscreen infotainment system and an 11.9-inch digital driver display. Audi has also moved the gear selector to a stalk behind the steering wheel, freeing up space around the centre console.

Feature highlights include a Sonos sound system, panoramic sunroof, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, dual-zone climate control, configurable ambient lighting, 360-degree camera and powered bootlid. The SUV also gets a four-spoke steering wheel and wireless charging.

New Audi Q3 Engine and Quattro AWD

The new Audi Q3 is expected to be offered in India with a 2.0-litre four-cylinder direct-injection turbo-petrol engine. The engine produces 204hp and 320Nm and is paired with a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission. Quattro all-wheel drive is expected to be standard.

Audi claims a 0-100kph acceleration time of 7.1 seconds and a top speed of 229kph for the powertrain. The new Q3’s claimed mileage is listed at 12.36kpl based on WLTP testing.

With the new generation, Audi is bringing a more technology-focused Q3 to India while retaining the petrol-powered, all-wheel-drive configuration. The final variant-wise price and equipment details will be confirmed around the India launch.
