Motorola Signature 27, the second phone in the Motorola Signature range, has been revealed at Snapdragon Summit 2026. The new high-end handset is one of the first devices to be announced for Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Extreme Gen 6 chipset mobile platform. It also has a 50MP Sony LYTIA 910 primary camera and a 200MP periscope telephoto camera, Bang & Olufsen audio and Motorola’s ArcticMesh cooling system, too. The firm has announced that the product will be available worldwide later this year (2026), and price and availability details are not yet available.

Motorola Signature 27: Key Specifications

The Motorola Signature 27 is designed to be a high-end flagship smartphone boasting a strong emphasis on performance, camera capabilities, and artificial intelligence and audio features. Motorola has yet to reveal a few details, such as the battery, the display, RAM and storage capacities, as well as charging times. Motorola has created its ArcticMesh cooling system to accommodate the heat that can be generated in heavy workloads. The thermal system features a redesigned 3D vapour chamber, liquid metal, copper mesh and diamond-infused thermal gel. The new vapour chamber will be 40 percent larger than the previous, Motorola adds. Cooling hardware is designed to assist with the control of heat while playing, during AI processing and when recording to video for longer periods of time.

Motorola Signature 27 gets 200MP Periscope Telephoto Camera

The Motorola Signature 27 also boasts some impressive camera features. The smartphone has a 50MP camera called Sony LYTIA 910, plus a 200MP periscope telephoto camera. The high-resolution telephoto sensor is optimized for distance photography, while Motorola’s camera processing focuses on delivering finer details and better image quality.

Motorola also is unveiling its Video Enhancement Engine. The AI-based system processes scenes when taking video and adjusts colour tones accordingly. According to the company, the technology is meant to enhance the quality of recorded footage in terms of colour, exposure and other factors. The other camera sensors have yet to be completely revealed.

Bang & Olufsen Audio Comes to Motorola

The Motorola Signature 27 is the first ever Motorola phone to have Audio by Bang and Olufsen. The high-end sound company is one of the many partnerships announced by Motorola, where B&O is listed as the brand on the back panel of the phone. Motorola has branded the partnership as a part of its premium smartphone experience.

Branding is not all the partnership. Motorola has said that the partnership will include sound tuning, custom sound modes and other audio experiences. The exact hardware setup and full specs of the audio system has not yet been announced.

Gemini AI and New Creative Features

The other AI-equipped aspect of the phone’s software is its voice recognition capabilities. Google Gemini is built in to the device, and it can help with tasks as prompted by the user and context. Motorola has showcased features like planning activities and managing tasks in the supported services.

It also has Gemini Omni, which can generate a finished video using prompts, photos or existing video footage. Google Lyria is provided for music and soundtracks created with AI. These features bring a creative aspect to the device’s camera and video features.

Seven Years of Software Updates

Motorola has said it will provide seven years of OS upgrades for the phone, and as many as seven years of security updates. The support period is scheduled to start from the day the device is launched in the world. The smartphone will come with Android 17.

The company has also announced two handsets for the phone. PANTONE Coal Smoke features a Tactical Weave texture and PANTONE Capulet Green has a brushed texture reminiscent of a textile. The phone has an aluminium look with contoured sides and a unique multi-camera back design.

Motorola Signature 27 Price and Availability

Motorola hasn’t announced the specific sales date or price of Signature 27 as yet. The company has revealed that the smartphone will be available in the market globally later this year, in 2026. There’s more specific information about the market that will be available nearer to its release.
