iQOO Pad Ultra would be available for purchase in China on September 29 with iQOO 16 and iQOO Gaming Headset. Before the launch, iQOO has announced another important specifications for its new gaming-oriented tablet. The Pad Ultra will feature 9,020mAh of Blue Ocean power and will be light. The company has also uploaded some sample photos from the iQOO 16 camera, showcasing its telephoto photography features.

iQOO Pad Ultra Confirmed With 9,020mAh Battery

This 9,020mAh tablet has the largest new addition of a battery known as the Blue Ocean battery. iQOO has officially announced the capacity in its latest teaser prior to the Chinese launch. The company is marketing the big battery as a key component in the tablet’s gameplay and entertainment, especially for those who use the tablet for longer periods.

Additionally, the tablet is 5.74mm thick and weighs 298 g, powered by a battery with this capacity. The numbers give an idea of the tight design iQOO is aiming for with the Pad Ultra. The company has previously teased active cooling hardware for the performance-focused tablet, as well.

iQOO 16 Camera Samples Reveal Periscope Telephoto

Alongside this tablet, iQOO has also shared images of the future iQOO 16’s camera setup. The smartphone has a super periscope telephoto camera and the imaging algorithm is similar to Vivo’s flagship smartphone technology, the company teased.

The telephoto system supports 3x optical zoom and a lossless zoom up to 6x. These samples mainly focus on landscape shots and are demostrate the detail captured at various zoom levels. These images give a preview of the phone’s camera ability before the official launch.

50MP Main Camera and 50MP Periscope Already Confirmed

Earlier, iQOO shared some specifications regarding the camera setup of the iQOO 16. The smartphone has a 50MP main camera with a 1/1.3-inch ultra-sensitive camera sensor, along with a 50MP Sony Super Periscope Telephoto camera and a 50MP ultra-wide-angle camera.

The main camera will be powered by the NICE 3.0 optical reconstruction engine, and the Super Light and Shadow HDR technology developed by Vivo. The technologies are designed to hold onto detail in bright and dark areas of an image. The newest samples are just a preview of the phone’s telephoto photography system.

iQOO Pad Ultra to Focus on Gaming Performance

The Pad Ultra is being marketed as a sports tablet and not a traditional giant screen. Previous ads showed it running on the Snapdragon 8 Elite Extreme Gen 6 processor and Snapdragon modems’ self-developed gaming chip Q4. With super-resolution and frame-generation technologies, it is capable of handling 2K games up to 165fps.

The tablet will also include an active cooling system with an embedded fan, as well. Earlier, leaked actual photos suggested the presence of physical cooling vents, but iQOO has been hyping the thermal features of the device, which are aimed at gaming. The fan has been reported to attain up to 14,000 rpm and deliver up to 0.94 CFM of air flow.

Launch Date and Other Upcoming iQOO Devices

iQOO will officially introduce the iQOO 16, Pad Ultra and Gaming Headset in China on September 29 at 7:00 PM local time. The company has already launched the pre-orders of the iQOO 16 and Pad Ultra in China, where the company has made promotional gifts for the pre-orders.

The iQOO 16 is already confirmed with a few gaming related features, like 8,400mAh Blue Ocean battery, 100W wired charging, 40W wireless charging and Global Direct Power Supply 2.0. It will also include an 8.5K VC Ice Dome cooling system, a new ultra-sensitive gyroscope and gaming oriented audio and vibrate systems.
