Infinix has introduced two more accessories to its GT gaming line – the Infinix GT NX Controller and the GT NX Station. According to the company, the new peripherals will overcome some of the smartphone gaming industry’s challenges, such as touchscreen controls, heat issues during extended periods of gaming and the lack of connectivity. The two accessories can be paired with compatible GT-series smartphones for setups that can be used as handheld or desktop gaming configurations.
Infinix GT NX Controller Features a Large Touchpad
The GT NX Controller features a split-style, large glass touchpad mobile gaming controller. According to Infinix, it is a Pixel-Level FPS Precision Touchpad and it promises to offer more precise aiming in FPS titles. It also features touchpad gestures and mouse-like functionality, and mapping can be utilized for games that don’t have external control support.
The controller is based on a three-chip low-latency design, two of which are in the left handle and the third in the right. According to Infinix, this configuration makes it possible to connect to the device in milliseconds for responsive control. The controller also features other gaming set ups such as phone clamping, desktop gaming and portable, single-hand use.

22+ Hours of Claimed Battery Life
The GT NX Controller has a battery life of over 22 hours. It also has variable haptic feedback modes, which include Low, Medium and High modes via the XArena gaming platform. The game-specific feedback also includes longer vibrations when taking off or parachuting in a flight game and shorter vibrations when the last play zone is reduced in size in the mapping mode, which Infinix has introduced while using the device in mapping mode.
The controller sports laser textured grips to give better anti-slip action while longer gaming sessions. The physical design enables the smartphone to be laced to the controller for handheld gaming, and other setups can be configured for desktop or single-hand gaming.
GT NX Station Combines Cooling and Connectivity
The GT NX Station is aimed at a smart phone gaming multi-function docking station. It has a unique built-in TEC active cooling system as its primary feature. Infinix claims that the cooling system is supposed to regulate the temperature of the phone when it is used for gaming and also minimise performance degradation from thermal throttling.
External display connections are also available at the station. Users can display their smartphone screen on a compatible monitor or TV, and an Extend mode will give them an independent dual-screen setup. With this setup, the game can be used on the larger screen and the phone can be used for other purposes or display turned off.
9-in-1 Ports and Desktop Gaming Setup
The GT NX Station features a built-in 9-in-1 connectivity hub with HDMI, RJ45 Ethernet, two USB-A, a USB-C supply, a microSD card slot and a 3.5mm audio port. The station also has Dynamic RGB lights for a gaming angled setup.

The addition of wired Ethernet is designed to offer a more secure network connection to online gaming than just wireless. The USB ports also allow for accessories like keys, headsets, and even external storage to be connected to the device, while PD pass-through charging allows for the connected smartphone to keep charging while being used for longer sessions.

The two accessories are being marketed by the company as a part of its GT gaming ecosystem. The GT NX Controller is designed for those who prefer to use physical controls and/or portable gaming, while the GT NX Station is geared more toward desktop gaming with active cooling and external display support and extra connectivity. The combination of the two can offer you handheld and bigger screen gaming.

There’s no official word from Infinix about the global prices of the GT NX accessories yet. The prices are different from market to market. The price of the GT NX Controller and GT NX Station is officially recommended at RM399 per copy and the accessories can be pre-ordered at an introductory price of RM299 per copy in Malaysia. A bundle of both products is priced at RM549 at the promotion period. During the promotion period, the price of a bundle of both products is RM549.
In addition, Infinix has said the peripherals will be available in the market at a specific date and price which will vary from market to market. At present, the company hasn’t declared the prices of the GT NX Controller and the GT NX Station in India.
