The latest leak suggests that company will launch the X Fold 6 in India in two configurations. These are expected to include 12GB RAM with 256GB storage and 12GB RAM with 512GB storage. The India-specific colour options are tipped to include Prism Black and Nebula Teal.

OriginOS 7 Expected on the India Model

The X Fold 6 is expected to run OriginOS 7 on the global and Indian models. The phone originally launched in China with OriginOS 6 Fold. Vivo has now listed the X Fold6 among the devices scheduled to receive the OriginOS 7 update from October 9, 2026.

Dimensity 9500 Super Edition Chipset

The Vivo X Fold 6 is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9500 Super Edition chipset. The China model is available with up to 16GB of LPDDR5X Ultra RAM and up to 1TB of UFS 4.1 storage. However, the India model is tipped to be offered with 12GB RAM and 256GB or 512GB storage.

200MP Triple Rear Camera Setup

For photography, the X Fold 6 features a triple rear camera setup led by a 200MP primary sensor with OIS. It is paired with a 50MP ZEISS APO periscope telephoto camera and a 50MP ultra-wide camera. The phone also supports a second-generation 200mm external telephoto lens in the China model.

For selfies and video calls, the foldable smartphone has two 20MP cameras, with one placed on the inner display and another on the cover display. The rear camera system also carries ZEISS branding.

7,000mAh Battery and Fast Charging

One of the major specifications of the Vivo X Fold 6 is its 7,000mAh silicon-carbon battery. The China model supports 80W wired charging and 40W wireless charging. This large battery is among the notable hardware features of the foldable phone.
