PM E-DRIVE EVs are helping to slash fuel consumption and emissions as India’s electric mobility programme nears two years. Electric Two-wheelers Save The Most
Electric two-wheelers contribute the most towards the number of registered EVs under PM E-DRIVE. NDTV reports that more than 31.19 lakh electric two-wheelers comprised around 91% of the total number of EVs registered under PM E-DRIVE and EMPS as of September 26, 2026.
The government dashboard also indicates that electric two-wheelers dominate the current year’s registrations under the PM E-DRIVE.
